Dynamis is a keen supporter of artists and entrepreneurs in Second Life (SL) and has funded the creation of two exciting spaces for SL citizens – Odyssey and Business Exchange.
Whilst other corporations and companies are keen to use Second Life as a marketing vehicle to extend their brand in SL, Dynamis prefers to create genuine value for SL citizens by connecting them with each other, helping them grow as people and making a real difference in a virtual world. In short, we believe the communities who inhabit the spaces should take ownership of those spaces.
These are the values embraced by SL patron Pacino Hercules – the avatar in second life of Marcus Markou, the Dynamis Chairman and co-founder.
Odyssey is a leading island in Second Life where artists and performers can form new creative partnerships, exhibit work and perform. It has proved extremely popular with artists and art organisations in both SL and Real Life. The idea has always been to connect artists and the push boundaries. Odyssey asks fundamental questions of art and the nature of reality. The build and management of Odyssey has been overseen by talented avatar Sugar Seville. If you wish to exhibit on Odyssey or wish to learn more, please contact her in-world.
The Business Exchange is the latest island development by Dynamis. Its aims are simple – to connect Second Life business people, inventors, builders and entrepreneurs. Members of the Business Exchange are able to hold events, use meeting rooms and advertise an SL business opportunity for one Linden Dollar. The build was overseen by talented avatars Caliandris Pendragon and Kei Mars. If you wish to hold events on The Business Exchange or learn more, please contact Dynamis representative Pacino Hercules in-world.
