PRESS RELEASE
October 2007---BEGINS---
FranchiseSales.com – the world’s largest franchise recruitment portal has reinvented itself to great success.
3 months ago, FranchiseSales.com publishers Dynamis, released the new site, and since the launch, enquiries are up 45% month on month for this time last year.
FranchiseSales.com changed the look and feel of the site and introduced the character ‘Franchise Sam’ in order to:
Franchisors want quality enquiries. The introduction of tailored qualification criteria in the enquiry panel and a more dynamic search facility have enabled FranchiseSales.com to deliver quality enquiries from genuine, serious franchise seekers. On average, FranchiseSales.com advertisers are receiving 32% more enquiries than they were previous to the relaunch.
The site also commissioned a customer satisfaction survey, which revealed buyers want a site that is simple and easy to use – and that puts them directly in touch with the franchisor.
Buyers want to be able to do everything in one place, they want their websites to be comprehensive and they were frustrated that that isn’t available to them.
The new site has been redesigned with their thoughts and behaviours in mind. The site now features more franchises than any other site – there are now over 1,300 opportunities available.
In addition to the survey, FranchiseSales.com also conducted two focus groups – 20 franchise seekers in the UK and the same in the US. The results were unanimous.
The majority of franchise seekers admitted they did not connect with any particular franchise site because they were all too similar to one another, and, they did not reflect their own aspirations.
Therefore FranchiseSales.com needed to make itself stand out further from its competitors – hence the introduction of some bright headers, a clean crisp look, an easy to use navigation and – the creation of the ‘Franchise Sam’ character.
Designers worked on 10 potential logo designs, including corporate logos, animals, and figures and over 80% of respondents said they immediately connected with Sam.
“The builder/handyman reflects the culture of today’s franchisees,” says Chairman Marcus Markou. “He is an ambitious, hardworking individual who is interested in the do-it-yourself aspect of franchising.”
“The new FranchiseSales.com is to franchising what IKEA is to home furnishing. Everything is under “one roof”. You come to the shop, choose what you want, take it home and start building [your business].” Concludes Marcus.
From the results of the survey and the focus group, FranchiseSales.com firmly believes that the re-brand and the introduction of ‘Franchise Sam’ will further connect its audience with your opportunity, and consequently, the perfect franchise opportunity they have been searching for.
