
- Adam Bannister (BusinessWings.co.uk Editor)
- Adam graduated from Leeds University in 2003 with a degree in History. He came to London two years later to do a diploma in Magazine Journalism. During his subsequent stint as subeditor at a legal publishing company he undertook freelance work for Dynamis, before joining the company on a full-time basis in the summer of 2006. Adam provides and manages editorial across all titles.
- Andrew Markou (CEO & Technical Director)
- One of the founders of Dynamis PLC, Andrew is a creative technologist and web programmer with an MSc in Computer Science from Birmingham University. He has been instrumental in overseeing the technical development of BusinessesForSale.com and FranchiseSales.com.
- Barnaby Jago (Customer Services Manager)
- Barnaby gained his experience working in a variety of roles in several sectors, including leisure, retail and new media. He spent 2 years living in France before studying Business at South Bank University. An enthusiastic people person, he joined Dynamis in February 2009 as Customer Services Manager.
- Brett Taylor (Technical Architect)
- Brett read mathematics at Warwick University before embarking on a PhD in Theoretical Particle Physics from Swansea University. He then became a research fellow in String Theory at the University of Patras, Greece. His published work centres particularly on what happens near knotty singularities in quantum field theory parameter spaces. He joined Dynamis in March 2006.
- Bruce Hakutizwi (US BusinessesForSale.com Manager)
- Bruce Hakutizwi began his career in the hospitality industry as a guest relations manager. After 4 years, he moved into customer services at a building society before relocating to the Midlands and taking up the role of territory sales executive managing and developing a customer base to be the largest in its region. As a real people person, Bruce decided to change career and became a project manager for a new start-up estate agent; working specifically to increase its client base. Bruce joined Dynamis in 2008 as BusinessesForSale.com’s US manager and will focus on client acquisition and retention in North America.
- Charlotte Nijssen (Sales Support Executive)
- Charlotte was born in Holland and studied Art History at Leiden University. She fell in love with the UK after spending several months in Manchester as part of her degree and moved to the UK permanently following her graduation in 2009. Charlotte joined Dynamis in January 2010 and works with the FranchiseSales.com team to assist with brochure page production and client account management.
- Chris Leow (Technical Architect)
- Hailing from Brighton, Chris studied Maths at Cambridge and graduated in 2003. After a short spell teaching English in China, Chris returned to London working in Software Development and Sales. Chris joined Dynamis in 2007 as a coder to concentrate on FranchiseSales.com and improving the links between BusinessesForSale.com and its clients.
- Claire Collins (Non-Executive Director)
- In April 2005 Claire was appointed as a Non-Executive Director. Claire originally joined Dynamis in 2004 as Commercial Director where her role saw her implementing new sales and marketing initiatives. Claire has a wealth of sales, marketing and general management experience with US corporates and spent four years consulting with UK & European New Media businesses in growth strategy. An entrepreneur herself, Claire also runs her own business - Violet May – selling luxury business accessories aimed at women.
- Daniel Drage (Managing Editor)
- Dan graduated from UCL in 2000 with a Psychology BSc. He then embarked on a brief New York excursion before landing a prized place in the press room of Chelsea Football Club. Dan has worked extensively in the music, new media and price comparison sectors, while also maintaining a freelance journalism career alongside. Dan joined Dynamis in the autumn of 2008 and will be responsible for the editorial strategy across the Dynamis portfolio of brands.
- Dan Gammon (FranchiseSales.com UK Manager)
- Dan graduated from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in 2003 and holds a Bachelor of Business (Marketing). He went on to work at a global sports marketing firm developing and manufacturing licensed brands within Australia including work for the Australian Football League, the Australian Grand Prix, and the Ashes 05/06 series. Dan moved to the UK in the summer of 2007, arriving at Dynamis shortly after. He is responsible for managing UK accounts and assists with the global expansion of FranchiseSales.com.
- Emmanuel Simpson (Web Design Manager)
- Emmanuel graduated from Brighton Art College having studied Contemporary Theories in Art and Design. Originally based in print media, he worked in magazines and design practices before being seduced by the lure of the pixel. Emmanuel works within the design team to further develop the look and usability of the Dynamis portfolio and is responsible for all of Dynamis’ print production work.
- Faye Ferris (Commercial Director)
- Faye holds a degree in Physiology from Reading University and since then has gained broad experience in Sales and Marketing, Account and Channel management within a variety of industries, including IT and automotive. Faye joined Dynamis in December 2004 and was responsible for developing global client relationships until April 2009 when she was appointed to the board of directors. Her commercial role will now see her concentrate on driving revenues across the entire portfolio of brands.
- Jeanette Radomsky (Credit Controller)
- Jeanette has a B. Proc degree in Law and has spent much of her working life as a credit controller for a variety of companies, mainly in the law and IT industries. She took a life changing decision to follow her family to England in October 2008 and joined the Dynamis finance department 4 months later.
- Jeremy Mandell (Head of Marketing)
- After studying law and French law at The University of Essex, Jeremy worked his way up the marketing ladder with various media companies. In 2002 he left the UK to set up and run his own furniture design and contract sales business in Turkey. Returning in 2005 he worked as a marketing manager in the private and public sectors until joining Dynamis in 2009 to focus on marketing and promoting the portfolio of Dynamis brands.
- Jo Dalton (Senior Marketing Manager)
- Jo graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Media Studies and Business Management. She worked as a video production editor with an online publishing company in Manchester, working on various football websites. After a brief spell travelling the globe, Jo joined Dynamis in November 2005. She now works with Jeremy to manage and co-ordinate marketing, being primarily responsible for email marketing, business development and online PR.
- Krystena Petrakas (Staff Writer)
- After graduating from Manchester Metropolitan University with a BA (Hons) in English and American Literature in the summer of 2009, Krystena joined the Dynamis editorial team. She will work with Dan and Adam to produce content for all Dynamis titles.
- Lisa Maiden (Sales Support Executive)
- Lisa graduated from Thames Valley University in 2004 with a BA (Hons) in Marketing and Advertising. Following this she gained extensive experience as an Account Executive in PR, marketing and sales. Before joining Dynamis in July 2009, Lisa was responsible for driving membership sales, managing events and co-ordinating sponsorship at an exclusive members club in Chelsea, London. She is now responsible for communications on behalf of clients and providing sales support to the BusinessesForSale.com team.
- Lucy Clooney (Head of BusinessesForSale.com)
- Lucy graduated from The University of Essex with a BA Honours degree in American Studies, which led her to study at the University of Miami in Florida in her final year. She gained 18 months sales experience in the automotive industry before joining Dynamis in 2006. Lucy has spent 3 years developing BusinessesForSale.com’s presence internationally and as of April 2009, will focus her attention on maintaining and building client relationships in the UK.
- Madeleine Hoskins (Web Design Executive)
- Since graduating from the University of Sussex with a BSc in Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence, Madeleine gained a passion for web design working for a design, media and marketing company in Washington, DC. After a year in the US, Madeleine returned to the UK and joined the Dynamis team in November 2006 as a junior web designer.
- Marcus Markou (Chairman)
- Marcus heads up the Dynamis PLC board and is responsible for leading the business. He is a writer, actor and entrepreneur with a broad range of experience ranging from theatrical production to magazine publishing. He launched his first magazine whilst at University and subsequently launched BusinessesForSale.com in 1996 after setting up the publication Businesses and Premises For Sale. He has a degree in History and Politics from Birmingham University and an MA in Legal and Political theory from UCL.
- Michelle Harding (Finance Manager)
- Michelle joined Dynamis in the summer of 2008 as Finance Manager. Having previously been self employed, she grew dissatisfied with paying accountants to do her bookkeeping and decided to retrain and become one herself. She qualified in 1998 and has worked for a variety of companies in the manufacturing, legal and property sectors.
- Nicola Benford (Head of Web Design)
- Nicola graduated from the University of Glamorgan in 2000 with a degree in Multimedia Studies. Following this she became an integral member of a web design and development agency creating commercial websites. Nicola joined the Design and Production Team at Dynamis in April 2005 to further develop the Dynamis portfolio.
- Ralph Weedon (Technical Architect)
- Ralph has worked as a development consultant for the BBC, and joined Dynamis in 2000 when he was heavily involved in the creation of Dynamis's current portfolio. After a spell at FPDSavills where he rewrote their UK property search, he rejoined Dynamis in summer 2004. Ralph has a degree in Philosophy with Cognitive Science from the University of Sussex and is an award winning pianist with a Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Jazz studies from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
- Sally Grant (Head of Rich Media)
- Sally graduated in 2003 with a degree in English, she has spent six years working as a producer across a variety of creative platforms and industries. Sally joined Dynamis in 2008, and now heads up the rich media department producing video and audio content for Dynamis’ portfolio of websites.
- Sam Lewis (Sales Support Executive)
- Sam graduated from Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication with a BA(Hons) in Fashion Design, having specialised in promotion. In January 2009 Sam joined the FranchiseSales.com team to assist with client account management and support the sales team. In addition to this, Sam is also responsible for the production of podcasts for all Dynamis websites.
- Shaun Adams (Search Engine Optimisation Apprentice)
- Shaun left college with an A level in IT and a BTEC in Business Studies. He was offered a place at university but considered gaining work experience under an apprenticeship more valuable to his career development. After working in various retail positions, he joined Dynamis in November 2009 as Search Engine Optimisation Apprentice.
- Tony de Vizio (Non-Executive Director)
- Tony joined Dynamis in April 2005 and during 4 years as Sales and Marketing Director was responsible for driving revenues across the entire portfolio of businesses. He graduated from Durham University, with a BA in Economics, and has over ten years experience within business development, marketing and commercial management, having worked for MasterCard International Inc. and Cable & Wireless plc.
- Yasmine Siddiqi (Director)
- Yasmine holds a degree in Information Systems Engineering (Bsc) from Westminster University. After gaining extensive experience working in marketing, sales and IT, Yasmine joined Dynamis in 2005 to take charge of FranchiseSales.com. Yasmine joined the board of directors in September 2009 and is now also responsible for the performance of the company on a commercial basis, while at the same time continuing to oversee the development and strategic expansion of FranchiseSales.com.
