Adam Bannister Managing Editor
Adam, an employee since the summer of 2006, manages editorial across the full spectrum of Dynamis titles. A history graduate and Aston Villa fan with a journalism diploma, he has written and commissioned content on a wide range of business topics. He works with Sarah to produce news, comment and market analysis with the help of interviews with start-up entrepreneurs, business buyers and sellers, franchisors and franchisees, and business professionals including solicitors, accountants and business transfer agents.
Andrew Markou CEO & Technical Director
Andrew, along with his brother Marcus, founded Dynamis shortly after graduating from Sussex University having studied computer science. He has been instrumental in the development of all Dynamis sites and continues to oversee the technical team. He is a creative technologist and web programmer.
Andrew McKane Product Manager
Andrew completed a B.Sc in Accounting and Finance in 2009 at the Dublin Institute of Technology. Having always had an interest in human behaviour, he returned to study a Certificate in Psychology. He moved to London in November 2010 after spending several years working in the financial sector. Andrew joined Dynamis in June 2011 and works on product development on BusinessesForSale.com and PropertySales.com.
Antoine Gaborieau FranchiseAVendre.fr et France.BusinessesForSale.com Account Manager
Antoine completed a degree in Marketing Communications and Advertising at the University Of Pays-de-la-Loire in 2008. He worked as a communication designer for a publishing company as well as an auction clerk. Antoine moved to the UK early in 2010 joining Dynamis in the March of that year. He manages FranchiseAVendre.fr and BusinessesForSale.com France.
Barnaby Jago Head of Customer Services
Barnaby has gained a wealth of experience in a variety of roles in several sectors, including leisure, retail and new media. He spent 2 years living in France before returning to study Business at South Bank University. An enthusiastic people person and fantastic baker, he joined the Dynamis customer services team in February 2009.
Bruce Hakutizwi Global BusinessesForSale.com Manager
Bruce began his career in the hospitality industry before moving into a customer services role with a building society. A real people person, Bruce discovered his flair for sales and relationship management. After a brief spell with an Estate Agency, he joined Dynamis in 2008, starting out as BusinessesForSale.com US manager. His role now encompasses client acquisition, retention and business development in all countries except UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand.
Charlotte Nijssen Junior Web Designer
Charlotte was born in Holland and studied Art History at Leiden University. She fell in love with the UK after spending several months in Manchester as part of her degree and moved to the UK permanently following her graduation in 2009. Charlotte joined Dynamis the following year, initially working on FranchiseSales.com brochure pages and client account management. She joined the design team in 2011 and now works with Nicola to develop design across all websites.
Chris Leow Technical Architect
Hailing from Brighton, Chris studied Maths at Cambridge and graduated in 2003. After a short spell teaching English in China, Chris returned to London working in Software Development and Sales. Chris joined Dynamis in 2007 and as Technical Architect he works on developing all titles.
David McDonald Junior Web Designer
David has had a lifelong ambition to work in web design and he joined the Dynamis design team shortly after moving to London in July 2011. He’d spent the previous three years studying media production, video and new media at the University of Sunderland.
Deborah Gordon Customer Services Representative
Deborah describes herself as a "Jill of all trades", having worked in a variety of roles and industries from retail to IT to finance. During a career break she volunteered for a local children's charity which she continues to work for alongside her full time job. She joined the Dynamis customer services team in June 2011.
Emmanuel Simpson Project Manager
Emmanuel graduated from Brighton Art College having studied Contemporary Theories in Art and Design. Originally based in print media, he worked in magazines and design practices before being seduced by the lure of the pixel. Emmanuel spent 5 years working within the design team to further develop the look and usability of the Dynamis online portfolio as well as managing and producing all Dynamis print production work. In January 2011 he took on the role of project manager and is now responsible for managing web production projects and processes.
Faye Ferris Commercial Director
Faye holds a degree in Physiology from Reading University and since then has gained broad experience in sales and marketing, account and channel management within the IT and automotive industries. Faye joined Dynamis in December 2004 and was responsible for developing global client relationships through BusinessesForSale.com until April 2009 when she was appointed to the board of directors. Her commercial role now sees her concentrating on driving all revenue areas across the entire portfolio of brands, including Dynamis’ most recent publication, PropertySales.com.
Jeanette Radomsky PropertySales.com Account Manager
Jeanette has a B. Proc degree in Law and has spent much of her working life as a credit controller for a variety of companies, mainly in the law and IT industries. She took a life changing decision to follow her family to England in October 2008 and joined the Dynamis finance department 4 months later. Late in 2010 Jeanette moved into account management with one of our new brands. Since emigrating to the UK she has settled near her family in Watford and has loved working for Dynamis over that time.
Jeremy Mandell Marketing Director
After studying law and French law at The University of Essex, Jeremy worked his way up the marketing ladder with various media companies. In 2002 he left the UK to set up and run his own furniture design and contract sales business in Turkey. Returning in 2005 he worked as a marketing manager in the private and public sectors until joining Dynamis in 2009 to focus on marketing and promoting the portfolio of Dynamis brands.
Jo Dalton Head of Communications
Jo graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Media Studies and Business Management. She worked as a video production editor with an online publishing company in Manchester, working on various football websites. After a brief spell travelling the globe, Jo joined Dynamis in November 2005. She now works with Jeremy to manage and co-ordinate marketing and specialises in email marketing communications.
Laurie Jaques-Anderson Marketing Communications Assistant
After spending time in Europe and the UK as a youth exchange student, Laurie returned to her native Australia to do a Drama degree at Deacon University. She attended university for a second time as a mature student where she completed a Journalism degree and gained experience in broadcast and print media industries. Since arriving in the UK in 2008, Laurie has been working in the theatre industry and joined Dynamis in July 2011. She supports Jo in the management and co-ordination of email marketing across all brands.
Lisa Maiden FranchiseSales.com UK Account Manager
Lisa graduated from Thames Valley University in 2004 with a BA (Hons) in Marketing and Advertising. Following this she gained extensive experience as an Account Executive in PR, marketing and sales. Before joining Dynamis in July 2009, Lisa was responsible for driving membership sales, managing events and co-ordinating sponsorship at an exclusive members club in Chelsea, London. Lisa manages UK advertisers and works with Yasmine to develop FranchiseSales.com’s global expansion.
Lucy Clooney Head of BusinessesForSale.com
Lucy studied at the University of Essex which involved her spending a year in Miami, Florida in her final year. She gained 18 months sales experience in the automotive industry before joining Dynamis in 2006. Lucy spent her first three years developing BusinessesForSale.com’s global presence. In April 2009 she became the Head of BusinessesForSale.com, and continues to build and maintain current relationships while generating new associations with a wide range of business intermediaries.
Marcus Markou Chairman
Marcus heads up the Dynamis PLC board and is responsible for leading the business. He is a writer, actor and entrepreneur with a broad range of experience ranging from theatrical production to magazine publishing. He launched his first magazine whilst at University and subsequently launched BusinessesForSale.com in 1996 after setting up the publication Businesses and Premises For Sale. He has a degree in History and Politics from Birmingham University and an MA in Legal and Political theory from UCL.
Michelle Harding Finance Manager
Michelle joined Dynamis in the summer of 2008 as Finance Manager. Having previously been self employed, she grew dissatisfied with paying accountants to do her bookkeeping and decided to retrain and become one herself. She qualified in 1998 and has worked for a variety of companies in the manufacturing, legal and property sectors.
Nicola Benford Head of Web Design
Nicola graduated from the University of Glamorgan in 2000 with a degree in Multimedia Studies. Following this she became an integral member of a web design and development agency creating commercial websites. Nicola joined the Design and Production Team at Dynamis in April 2005 to further develop the Dynamis portfolio.
Nnaemeka Akabogu Junior Software Developer
Nnaemeka hails from Anambra, an eastern Nigerian city. After studying for a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering in his homeland, he went on to gain a Master’s degree in Network and e-Business Centred Computing – completing his studies in Greece, Spain and the UK while at the same time experiencing different European cultures and also learning Spanish. Nnaemeka decided to settle in the UK and in 2011 joined Dynamis to realise his programming ambitions.
Paulyne Antoniou Producer
Paulyne has devoted her educational life to studying and working with film and media. After gaining a Diploma in Moving Image, Paulyne worked as an editor while at the same time completing a part-time filmmaking course at the Metropolitan Film School. Paulyne now works with Sam in the Rich Media Team.
Ralph Weedon Technical Architect
Ralph has worked as a development consultant for the BBC, and joined Dynamis in 2000 when he was heavily involved in the creation of Dynamis's current portfolio. After a spell at FPDSavills where he rewrote their UK property search, he rejoined Dynamis in summer 2004. Ralph has a degree in Philosophy with Cognitive Science from the University of Sussex and is an award winning pianist with a Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Jazz studies from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
Rufus Bazley Marketing Manager
Rufus “misspent” the early years of his working life as a sailing instructor in the Mediterranean. He stepped ashore for good in 2003, starting work in an online marketing role for a leading affiliate network. He quickly moved up the ranks, heading up the account management team and moving to New York to establish an office across the pond. Rufus’s experience ranges across the full spectrum of the online world having worked for a range of media agencies and online retailers. He joined Dynamis in 2011 to co-ordinate PR and SEO across all brands.
Sam Lewis Head of Rich Media
Sam graduated from Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication with a BA (Hons) in Fashion Design, having specialised in promotion. Sam joined Dynamis in January 2009 and now heads up the rich media department producing video and audio content for Dynamis’ portfolio of websites.
Sarah Louise Dean Business Journalist & Editor
Sarah holds a degree in Psychology from Royal Holloway University and is a qualified lawyer, having worked for entrepreneurs including Richard Branson. She decided to have a change of career when she discovered that her heart belonged to journalism. After some stints writing about film, money and fashion, Sarah joined Dynamis in August 2011. She works alongside Adam, writing content for all of the Dynamis titles.
Shaun Adams SEO Executive
Shaun left college with an A level in IT and a BTEC in Business Studies. He was offered a place at university but considered gaining work experience under an apprenticeship more valuable to his career development. After working in various retail positions, he joined Dynamis in November 2009 as Search Engine Optimisation Apprentice. He now works with Rufus to develop and implement the Dynamis SEO strategy.
Yasmine Siddiqi Director
Yasmine holds a degree in Information Systems Engineering (Bsc) from Westminster University. After gaining extensive experience working in marketing, sales and IT, Yasmine joined Dynamis in 2005 to take charge of FranchiseSales.com. Yasmine joined the board of directors in September 2009 and is now also responsible for the performance of the company on a commercial basis, while at the same time continuing to oversee the development and strategic expansion of FranchiseSales.com.
