Dynamis Ltd is a leading online publisher focused upon delivering exciting web titles and technologies within the classifieds marketplace.
Our primary aim is connecting entrepreneurs, business intermediaries and marketplaces within the B2B and B2C arenas.
The magazine “Businesses and Premises for Sale” is born. Demetrios Markou, an accountant operating in Birmingham finds he needs a place to list his clients’ businesses and premises for sale.
Demetrios’ sons Marcus and Andrew Markou, along with entrepreneur Nick Pili take over the running of the magazine. BusinessesForSale.com soon emerges as a bulletin board service to support the original magazine and flourishes during the dotcom boom of the late 90s. Dynamis the media group, is formed.
With the success of BusinessesForSale.com greatly superseding that of the magazine, “Businesses and Premises for sale” ceases publication.
BusinessesForSale.com is now the largest global database of businesses for sale, spanning more than 100 countries and attracting thousands of buyers and sellers daily.
We raise £1.7 million from angel Investors to support the development of BusinessesForSale.com and potential other new titles.
To complement BusinessesForSale.com, we create a dedicated website for buying and selling franchises in the UK. FranchiseSales.com is unleashed.
FranchiseSales.com builds on fast moving success. Now a key player in the franchise industry the website launches in a further 9 countries.
Building on the success of BusinessesForSale.com and FranchiseSales.com Dynamis looks to expand into a new market. Joining forces with the Financial Times, a new service is developed. PropertySales.com emerges to accommodate the premium end of the commercial property market.
In addition to the many trade events we attend every year, Dynamis joins forces with event organisers Prysm. We establish Businesses For Sale Live – a seminar theatre at the UK’s largest business event The Business Show – dedicated to educating buyers and sellers about the transfer process.
In 2014 Dynamis Ltd expands its operations by opening its subsidiary company Dynamis APAC Pty Ltd based in Sydney Australia. Long term employee Faye Ferris and husband Darren take the opportunity and responsibility to relocate to Australia to take up the active day to day management of Dynamis APAC Pty Ltd and its expansions into the Asia Pacific region.
